Tutorial: Giraffe Makeup

I've always been fascinated by facepaint and makeup that can make a face unrecognisable. It is such a strange feeling to look in the mirror and not relate to the person looking back! So whenever I have free time in the house, I usually create fun looks like this and take loads of pics so I can create a tutorial for you lot!

The Zoological club night in the Wright Venue is fast approaching, so that is what inspired an animal-themed facepaint. Read on to learn how to create it yourself, or just to see the process in picture!

Let's talk about lashes!

 Love them or hate them, there's no denying that they complete any makeup look. However, too many people just don't know what lashes suit them or how to apply them. A few girlies have asked me about this so I decided to do a detailed post about choosing and applying fake eyelashes.

Benefit Giveaway & Facebook Launch!

Sooo you may have seen my previous post that talked about my new Facebook page, Pooky Banana Makeup. It also let you all know about my fab giveaway of the beautiful Benefit and Matthew Williamson collaboration makeup set!

My original plan was to close the competition tomorrow, April the 4th, but that has changed! 

As my college semester comes to a close, assignments, essays and presentations have been piling up. I also started my makeup course this week (wheey!) so I really haven't had the time to dedicate to my darling blog, or in promoting the competition.
